Extra Curricular Activities
School lays emphasis on all round development of child. Various cultural activities are organised to bring out the talents of students, to provide a platform for budding artists and to inculcate team spirit. Students are encouraged and trained by expect teaches to participate in various competitions held within or outside school. Vesides, school provides Yoga & Aerobics.
School Parliament
The school parliament is a Pupil’s body which allows Pupils to communicate with school Management and solve issues to satisfy pupil’s needs & interests. Parliament consists of – School Perfect, Head Boy, Head Girl, Cultural Head, Cultural coordinators & Class Monitors.
House Activity
The House system plays a vital role in the furtherance of cultural & co-curricular activities in school. Every student is alloted a particular house out of four houses i.e Shakespeare, Wordsworth, Shelly & Tagore. It helps to inculcate a sense of competition , cooperation, identity & belongingness. Students are given administrative responsibilities such as House Captain & Vice House Captains.
Library & Laboratory
TMS works hard to develop the reading habits and involving the students to develop the habit to discuss books & topics- Library is equipped with good number of varied books and daily Newspapers.
It is important to make student learn through Science Lab, Mathematics Lab & Computer Lab. School is well eqqiped with good qualityu & adequate number of equipments & computers.
The Arts at TMS
In keeping with the school philosophy and its belief in the multiple intelligence theory, the learning areas apart form the five broad based academic areas are given a lot of weight age.
The performing arts ( drama, dance and Indian and western music) and the visual arts ( panting, sketching) are an important part of the curriculum. Students are given good guidance by the expert teachers.
Physical Education and Sports
The Physical Education is being structured to develop skills, stamina and sportsmanship in order to fit the needs of particular age group.
The games played in the school are Football, Cricket, basket ball, badminton etc.
Besides, IQ based games are also designed to increase the reasoning & thinking power of the child.
